We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy volunteer to support Whitby Health Partnership in their housebound Covid vaccination programme.
Do you have some spare time to support a local programme?
Whitby Health Partnership need your help by driving members of the clinical team between houses to enable them to administer the vaccines to patients who are otherwise unable to attend a vaccine clinic.
Please note: You will not be required to enter the homes of any patient.
Requirements:
Full drivers license
Insured, taxed and MOT vehicle
A DBS check will be carried out at no additional cost to you
*Expenses for mileage will be reimbursed*
Start/end date: The exact start date is to be confirmed but aiming to begin the programme at the end of April. We expect the vaccine programme to be done over 5 days. We would welcome your support again later in the year for Flu vaccination programme.
Hours: Depending on the time you are able to commit to, this could be a few hours to a full day but we can be flexible around you.
