These interactive workshops teach children about good personal hygiene and common bugs caught through germs.

From reminding young children the importance of correctly washing hands and catch coughs and sneezes, to looking at the science of the spread of bacteria and germs to support science delivery – we have the workshop for you!

5 Steps to Hand-Washing
Using soap and water for hand-washing:

Wet your hands with clean water warm, if available and apply soap

Lather by rubbing hands together; be sure to cover all surfaces

Continue rubbing hands together for 15 to 20 seconds sing "Happy Birthday" twice in your head

Thoroughly rinse hands under running water
-
Use paper towels or an air dryer to dry hands thoroughly
