Flexible Counselling
Too often, location, cost, or waiting lists prevent people from accessing the support they need. Our service changes that.
As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, our counselling service works a little differently. Rather than charging a standard commercial counselling fee, we ask for a £25 donation per session.
Your contribution helps us to provide accessible counselling while supporting the wider community health and wellbeing work delivered by Healthbox CIC.

Choose a suitable date and time using our online booking calendar. Your initial assessment is completely free.
You’ll receive a confirmation email with your appointment details and can amend or cancel your booking if needed.

With a qualified counsellor
During your assessment, we’ll ask you some questions to help us understand your circumstances and the type of support you may need.
Your counsellor will also explain how the service works, answer any questions you have and discuss the support we may be able to offer.
Allocation
To one of our counsellors
If you decide to continue, we’ll set you up on our appointment system and match you with a suitable counsellor.
Your counsellor will contact you directly to arrange your first session, and wherever possible, you’ll continue with the same counsellor throughout your counselling.
Your £25 contribution goes further.
Healthbox CIC is a Community Interest Company (CIC), which means we exist to create social value and benefit our communities.
For each counselling session, we ask for a £25 donation. Your contribution helps us deliver the counselling service and supports our wider work improving health and wellbeing within communities.
Any surplus generated through the service is reinvested into Healthbox CIC’s community health and wellbeing projects rather than being distributed for private profit.
