Family fun day returns to Ellesmere Port this summer!

After having to postpone our original event on 30th July due to unforeseen circumstances, we're delighted to announce that the Community Connect Family Fun Day has been rescheduled and will now take place on:

The new date means the event still falls within the summer holidays, giving local families another opportunity to enjoy one of the best free children's events in Ellesmere Port. We'll be bringing all the fun you've come to expect, just like we do every year!

A free family day out packed with fun

Whether you're searching for kids events in Ellesmere Port, free activities in Cheshire, or wondering what's on in Ellesmere Port this summer, Community Connect has something for everyone.

The event is completely free to attend and is designed to encourage children, young people and families to get active, try something new and discover the fantastic support available within their local community.

Visitors can enjoy a wide range of physical activity sessions, games and family-friendly challenges throughout the day, alongside opportunities to meet local organisations that are making a real difference across Ellesmere Port.

Over 20 Local Organisations Coming Together

We're proud to be delivering Community Connect Family Fun Day with support from One Ellesmere Port Primary Care Network and Active Cheshire, bringing together more than 20 charities, community groups, not-for-profit organisations and third sector services.

Each organisation will be on hand to showcase the support, activities and opportunities available locally, making it easy for families to discover clubs, services and activities they may not have known existed.

From health and wellbeing advice to football, mindfulness, fruit kebab making, science activities, bracelet making, inflatable football darts and more, there'll be plenty to explore alongside all the fun and games.
