This recipe is an easy, nutritious and low cost breakfast option that can be adapted to your taste – add berries, nuts or anything you like!
Ingredients
100g porridge oats
1tsp baking powder
1 banana peeled and chopped
1tbsp of maple syrup
2 eggs
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
100g frozen/fresh mixed berries
Method
1. Heat oven to 180C/gas mark 4.
2. Place all ingredients apart from berries into a blender and combine until smooth.
3. Place mixture into a lightly oiled baking tray and add your berries.
4. Place into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until they are puffed up and cooked through.
