THERAPY UNBOXED: APPROACHING ADHD IN THE THERAPY ROOM Supporting Neurodiversity with Practical and Compassionate Training DATE: Friday 8th August TIME: 10:00-2:30pm LOCATION: Healthbox CIC, Unit 6, Venture Point, Stanney Mill Rd, Chester CH2 4NE Healthbox CIC is pleased to offer a focused, evidence-based session for therapists wishing to enhance their understanding and support of adults with ADHD. Whether you have experience in this area or are new to the topic, this training is designed to be welcoming, accessible, and highly relevant to the realities of therapy and counselling practice. “It's been really informative and the course feels very affirming and relatable.” June Training Participant WHO IS THIS TRAINING FOR? ● Counsellors working with adults with ADHD - diagnosed, undiagnosed, or currently in assessment. ● Practitioners keen to expand their skills for neurodiversity-affirming practice. ● Those interested in learning both research-based knowledge and lived experience perspectives relevant to their work. Participation is flexible, join discussions or observe as you feel comfortable. Breaks and movement are welcomed. ● REFRESHMENTS & BREAKS: There will be a 30-minute break during the session, with tea and coffee provided. Please note, attendees will need to bring their own lunch. This training is part of our broader commitment to supporting inclusive, evidence-informed therapy. It offers a practical, supportive space to build your skills for adults with ADHD.
