Supporting children and young peoples’ wellbeing with the Westminster Foundation.
We are very fortunate to have received funding from the Westminster Foundation Small Grants to provide our primary school programmes of MARVIN, SHINE and Chaos to Calm to schools in Chester.
Supporting emotional wellbeing, building confidence and promoting healthy lifestyle tips for families is a core element of Healthbox and we are delighted to be able to team up with the Westminster Foundation again.
MARVIN is our small group emotional regulation and wellbeing programme for children in Key stage 1 and 2. SHINE is group-based confidence building programme, while Chaos to Calm is designed for parents and carers to access peer support and strategies to understand their child’s anxiety and related behaviours.
We are currently working with Upton Westlea Primary School and will be starting to work in Lache Primary School and St Clare’s Catholic Primary School after the Easter break.
Thriving Families
ELLESMERE PORT, NORTHWICH, WINSFORD
We are pleased to announce we will be supporting Home-Start Cheshire, Koala North West and Her Place Charitable Trust with the Cheshire Community Foundation Thriving Families Project.
Healthbox will be providing counselling and emotional wellbeing support to children and families in Northwich, Winsford and Ellesmere Port as part of the wider project.
