Cheesy Leek, Sweet Potato & Cauliflower Purée

Serves - 4 portions


10g unsalted butter

5cm sliced leaks

1/2 small sweet potato, peeled and diced

250ml boiling water

2 good sized cauliflower florets cut into small pieces

30g grated cheddar cheese


Prep: 5 minutes

Cook: 13 minutes

  1. Heat the butter in a pan and add the leek
  2. Sauté gently for about 3 minutes until softened
  3. Add the sweet potato, pour over the boiling water and cook for 5 minutes
  4. Add the cauliflower, cover and continue to cook for 5 minutes
  5. Whiz the vegetables in a blender together with the grated cheese
  6. Serve and Enjoy!

Allow to cool and serve with a dollop of Greek yogurt and fresh strawberries.

Top tips: Suitable for freezing and for baby aged 6 – 9 months
