Our Thinking Well Feeling Well project is funded by the Westminster Foundation.
Due to Coronavirus we have moved our project online!
Here you can access all of our activities, which have been designed to encourage children and young people from Rural West Cheshire schools to share their thoughts and feelings in a creative way, whilst learning more about themselves and our environment. We’ll be posting a new activity each week – if you’d like us to publish your work below, please send us an email with the title of the project and your work attached to email@example.com.
9th April 2020 – Poetry in a Pandemic – Poems are a beautiful way to focus your mind on what’s going on around you and help you to notice the positives / what you are appreciative of during this time. So grab your pen and paper and give it a go – no matter what you think of your writing skills!
16th April 2020 – Create your Collage – Time to get creative with collages! Find inspiration from magazines, online or even your own photo’s – cut out pictures, arrange on a blank piece of paper and stick down. You can add tissue paper or other textured material, paints and colours, this is all about YOU.
24th April 2020 – Message in a bottle – This calming activity allows you to leave those worries behind and connect with others, as you realise we are in the same boat. Grab a pen and paper, write down a worry, problem, question or even a positive message for your classmates. We hope to share as many as we can, to help you feel more at ease in this sea of uncertainty.
27th April 2020 – Sarah’s Early Morning Yoga for KS1 – Awaken the body, mind and soul with this brilliant class, designed for KS1 learners. The session is roughly 15 minutes long.
Thursday 7th May – Sarah’s Sun Salutation Yoga for KS2 – Start slowly by stretching the body, once your body is warmed up add in a few extra moves before going into a game, watching and repeating what Sarah does… Can you keep up?

Friday 8th May – VE Day – To celebrate VE Day we’ve put together some fun recipes and activities to keep the whole family entertained. We hope you enjoy! 🇬🇧
Thursday 14th May – High 5 for wellbeing – Paint or colour your hand print and then follow the five fingers to tell us your favourite creations, things you share with your family, exercises, hobbies and foods!
