The Welcome Network team have been busy organising two Halloween themed summer events over the October half term in Ellesmere Port and Neston. Both events turned into a great success, with a recorded 98 child attendance and 47 families that attended! During the events, there were a variety of different Halloween themed activities to get involved with such as discos, scary apple monster mouth making, messy play provided by Ellesmere Port Children Centre, crafts such as messy mystery boxed, sticky spider webs and monster tin-can bowling! A hot meal of quorn spaghetti bolognese was provided to all, free of charge.
The Welcome Network would like to thank everyone that attended, as well as the volunteers from The Children’s Centre, ForHousing, CAB and Healthbox CIC. A big thank you to Neston Sainsbury’s for donating some of the food provided to the attendees!
